Windows 10: Sculpt ergonomic desktop receiver prevents PC from sleeping

HiI've seen a few posts on this before, but not seen a solution that's viable.When the usb receiver is plugged in, my PC will not sleep. The screens will blank after the screen-off timeout, but then immediately turn on again.I have set the keyboard and mouse to NOT be able to wake up the PC even though I would like this to work and still the PC is insomniac.PS C:\Users\micro> powercfg /lastwake Wake History Count - 1 Wake History [0] Wake Source Count - 1 Wake Source [0] Type: Fixed Feature Power ButtonSince the PC will not sleep when the mouse/keyboard are connected, there a

• What is the version of Windows installed?
  

I suggest you to get in touch with the Microsoft Hardware
Support to know about the replacement criteria. Meanwhile, you may also go through the
Warranty Limit Manual given under Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop.

We understand the concern as you are facing difficulties in connecting the
Sculpt ergonomic desktop set on the new PC.
In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Version and Build of Windows 10 currently installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
• What is the make and model of the PC?

Meanwhile we would suggest you to update driver
and check.

1. Connect the Sculpt ergonomic desktop set
   
2. Press Windows + X key
   and select Device Manager from the context menu.
   
3. Spot and expand the “Universal Serial Bus controllers”.
   
4. Right click on the USB Composite Device driver and select
   “Update driver”
   
5. Select Search automatically for drivers. Follow the onscreen steps
   
6. Restart the PC and check.
   

We would also suggest you to refer the methods as mentioned in these articles:

I would suggest that you download the Mouse and Keyboard Center 11. You can use it to connect and configure the Sculpt Ergonomic Desktop with your PC.
