Windows 10: Sculpt keyboard: After cleaning, certain key combinations stopped working

Probably I should have taken the batteries out before wiping my keyboard. The cloth was nearly dry, so moisture is not the problem. But pressing all those random key combinations seems to have done harm.Now certain key combinations won't work as expected anymore:* Shift+End: Nothing happens, except an alternating beep sound like the one for Caps Lock.* Ctrl+Shift+End, Ctrl+Shift+Cursor right: Same as above. Additionally, if the Ctrl key is still pressed after the other two have been released, code point 0x03 ETX = End-of-Text character is sent repeatedly until Ctrl is released as well.I alre

Sculpt keyboard needs a cleaning . . .

The Sculpt keyboard is manufactured and distributed by Microsoft.

Nowhere on microsoft.com could I find instructions for cleaning malfunctioning keys. I looked for the Microsoft forum whose topic was closest to my hardware issue, and this is what I found.

Surely someone is responsible for publishing cleaning instructions for this product, since that's something every keyboard eventually requires.

Suggestions welcomed.

Suggest you to launch the on-screen keyboard to check if the issue persists.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

  Press “Windows key + R” to get the run window.
  
• 
  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.
  

Also suggest you to install any pending Windows updates on the pc to check if that helps.
Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

Further, you may also boot the computer in a clean boot state and check if the issue persists. When you start Microsoft Windows, typically there are several programs that start automatically and run in the background that may interfere with the system.
These programs may include antivirus and system utility programs. When you perform a clean startup procedure, you prevent these programs from starting automatically.
