Windows 10: SD card adapter not working

    SD card adapter not working


    I'm trying to install BootMii on my Wii, so I need to put some things on my SD card. However, the backup PC I'm currently using does not have an SD card slot, and my adapter is not being detected by Windows. I'm using an 64-bit system. The SD card is a SanDisk Ultra 32 GB 80 mb/s SDHC card, and the adapter is a Focus card reader that can read Memory Sticks like the ones used on the PlayStation Portable, microSDHCs, and regular SDHCs. It plugs in via USB. If it helps, the Wii already has the Homebrew Channel on it. It is running menu version 4.3U.


    Is there any way I can get Windows to find my card reader? UAC is at default settings, and I don't know the admin password.

    Memory Stick to SD Adapter Question

    I have a Sony W120. As SD cards are less expensive than Memory Stick's , can I use a SD card with a Memory Stick to SD adapter in this camera ?

    Which adapter would you suggest ?

    Micro sd to sd card adaptor...

    Wow... That's expensive considering that the opposite adapter sells for about a dollar.

    This looks much cheaper. I believe does the same job. And it should be much cheaper. If I am not mistaken these are passive adapters.
