    I bought a 128gb SD card. I thought to make it as a recovery drive so first of all I tried to make it with windows software recovery drive. It made two partitions. One was 32gb and other was around 86 gb which was unallocated. Because usb is approximately 118gb. I thought it is the problem with software. So I used lenovo recovery creator tool. The same problem occurred.Then I remembered I also made My sd card from Removable drive to basic. So that I thought to run windows in sd card. I worked but it was slow so I formated the drive now it shows Removable drive but this problem occurs. My lap

    If I have understood the issue, your Win Jr. doesn’t recognize your SD Card.




    Try to perform these steps until your phone will recognize the SD card (for a max number of 5).



    • Switch off the phone.
    • Pick the SD card out.
    • Switch on the Phone.
    • Switch off the phone.
    • Insert the SD Card.
    • Check if the phone has detected it.
    • If no, repeat the sequence from point 1.

    OK - I just got this Asus Transformer Book with Windows 10 on it. I have a SD card that is formatted to ExFAT, and I keep getting the "read only" error. I know to go to the security settings, the problem is I don't have that tab on the card. I have it on the main drive, just not for the SD. I can't got to NTFS, because this SD is going into an Android tablet... Suggestions? And sorry in advance if this has been answered - my Google Fu is weak today...

    SD card Recovery Software

    When I see that happen on any type drive it usually means Windows doesn't understand how it is formatted, can't support it. I have Linux Mint running on a Desktop and Notebook and it can read more formats. Also possible is the files on the card are corrupted, one thing to do is not format until figuring out the issue. Also do not format an SD/SDHC card in a computer, always do it in the camera to assure it can still be used. The SD cards had a limit of 2GB while the SDHC cards are higher capacities. The card reader is important as an SD-only reader can't read the newer SDHC card.
