Windows 10: Sd card Problems

Discus and support Sd card Problems in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; So, I pressed "Eject" on the sd card, later I put it back in and it wouldnt work.     Card SD problem

    Look at this FAQ for information about your SD card:

    In part, relating to SD card removal this is what was said:

    To safely remove the SD card from your phone

    Before you take the card out of your phone, you need to go through a few steps on your phone first. Otherwise, it can cause problems with the card itself or the files on it.


    • In the
      App list      , tap Storage Sense
      Sd card Problems storage-sense-icon_InvariantCulture_Default.png
      .

    • Tap SD card, pan down and tap Remove SD card, and then tap
      Yes to confirm.

    • In the Safe to remove message box, tap OK, and then take the card out of your phone.
    If you don't safely remove the SD card, when you reinsert the card you might see the
    Scan SD card and fix errors message box. If that happens, tap
    Yes to have your phone scan the card and try to fix any errors. If you see an
    SD card scan failed message, insert the SD card into a PC to try and fix it there. To learn more, see this

    Sd card Problems

    SD card/SD card reader no longer working

    Hi. New to this so not sure of category.
    I have a Lenovo G70. Windows 10, 64bit
    My SD card reader has stopped working.
    In Device Manager, the SD card is not listed.
    I can't format the card as it is not listed.
    I cannot locate the card at all as it is not listed anywhere.
    I've tried chkdsk and get 'Cannot open volume for direct access'
    I don't even have the icon displaying when micro SD card is inserted.
    It did work previously but I had errors. Scanning and fixing did not help.
    I place the SD card in my Android phone and it works fine.
    Please help!
