    Version 1909

    Im trying to use my "OWNED" Windows File Recovery. I am signed in to Microsoft and even have it open In Edge but it won't install it or open it up because it says I'm not signed in. So frustrating. Trying everything to recover some very important files on new sd card that keeps wanting me to format it. Thank you for your time.

    How to make a system recovery disk on a SD-card


    Would it be possible to make a recovery disk of a SD card, and if needed copy it to an USB? Or does the recovery disk have to be made on the media it is going to be used from?
    I don't mind not getting a factory reset, Windows can make its own recovery disks, correct?

    Not going to be able to boot from a SD card, why i suggest a USB Flash Drive. Certainly can not boot from a factory recovery partition on a separate device it was copied to.
    Need to make discs from it be your best bet, get yourself an otg cable. Do not know how to extract that factory recovery partition, some software can do it or i believe diskpart maybe.

    SD card Recovery Software

    Micro SD card recovery

    If your SD card has lost its partition information then Recuva or other such software may be able to find and copy files from it. This is non-destructive as they copy the files, not try to restore them in situ.

    The other way is to try and restore its partition information. MiniTools Partition wizard can handle SD cards and has a partition recovery wizard that may help. But this will modify the SD card itself, so use with caution.
