Windows 10: SD card remains unallocated in Disk Management even after "New Simple Volume" wizard

Discus and support SD card remains unallocated in Disk Management even after "New Simple Volume" wizard in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; The SD card is 16 GB. While formatting it I got an error, and while checking Disk Management saw that it had for some reason converted to RAW file...     SD card remains unallocated in Disk Management even after "New Simple Volume" wizard


    The SD card is 16 GB. While formatting it I got an error, and while checking Disk Management saw that it had for some reason converted to RAW file system. I removed the volume and then attempted to run the "New Simple Volume" wizard. The wizard runs normally however the SD card is not assigned a drive and it remains unallocated. If i run chkdsk on the Windows Command Prompt it still says "CHKDSK is not available for RAW drives."This error occurs on multiple computers but if I insert the card into a camera and then try to run the "New Simple Volume" wizard I get a cyclic redundancy check CRC

    New Simple Volume Wizard does not repond

    I recently upgraded to Windows 10 Pro on Dell Latitude E6530 and now when inserting sd card into on-board card reader I get message "directory name is invalid". I've tried the disc management suggestion but when I click on New Simple Volume Wizard, it
    does not respond. It is not greyed out so I can click on it but nothing happens

    How to Partition a Win10 Hard Drive when the Disk Management Screen shows no Unallocated Volume?

    Instructions.... Step 2. Click on Shrink Volume Option
    After shrinking the volume of your disk, Unallocated dialogue box in Disk Management screen. So, right click on the "Unallocated" box and then proceed to click on "New Simple Volume" box.

    SD Card Slot Not Recognized

    Disk Management shows no indication of an SD card.

    I've ordered a replacement SD card. The new SD card should be delivered by Monday. Then, I'll have a second card to confirm if it's an SD card or SD card slot issue.
