Windows 10: SD card stopped working.

Discus and support SD card stopped working. in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Hi, My SD cards are suddenly not being recognised by Windows.     SD card stopped working.


    Hi,


    My SD cards are suddenly not being recognised by Windows. They don't work with any adaptor including a USB one, I've tried 3 separate adaptors and 3 different micro SDs.


    Things I have already tried:

    • I've confirmed that the SD card is working on another device & does not have write protection enabled.
    • I've checked DIsk Management & it does not show up there at all so I can't assign it a letter.
    • I've updated the SD drivers.
    • I've disabled & re-enabled the drive
    • I cannot run the Windows troubleshooter as the hardware option has been removed for some reason.


    All suggestions welcome.

    SD Card reader not working.

    Hi,

    There are several reasons why your SD card reader is not working. To assist you better, kindly answer the questions below:

    • Have you made any changes to your computer prior to this issue?
    • What are the other troubleshooting steps have you done so for?
    • Have you tried to use another SD card reader and see if it is getting recognized or detected by your computer?

    Hi,

    There’s a possibility that the SD card is not compatible with your device.
    To better assist you, please clarify the following:

    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?
    • Does any other SD card work on this device?
    • Does the SD card work on a different computer?
    • Are you getting any error messages?
