Windows 10: Sea of Thieves key can't be redeemed.

I got a key of the game Sea of Thieves, when I try to redeem it in the Windows Store it says,

Contact whomever you got this code from. It can't be redeemed

What can I do next?

Hey , i recently bought Sea of Thieves but i didn't get a redeem code.

And i don't see a download button either.

Can not activate Game key [Sea of thieves]

Greetings,

I have a Game Key for Sea of Thieves but can't activate and I get this message:

Contact who you got this code from. We can't redeem it.

I know that the Code is right and my friends had no issue validating their key.

Is it related to my location? I switched it to Germany, but it didn't change anything.
