Windows 10: seagate drivers

I've been trying to install the Seagate BUP UltraTouch Slim SCSI 2Tb external on windows 10. For about 2 months now. I had LITERALLY tried everything. and have tried it on two completely different laptops: HP and Lenovo. I need to know what to do next!

External Seagate Drive not appearing after Creators Update

We appreciate the feedback, Pete. Getting in touch with Seagate support is one of your options. They may have recent or updated drivers for your external hard drive. In the meantime, since the hard drive is detected again when you unplug and replug it, we
suggest that you try changing the drive letter and its path and see if it addresses the issue. Follow the steps below:

• Right-click the Windows key and click Computer Management.
• Under Storage, click Disk Management.
• Find your Seagate External Hard Drive, right-click it and select
  Change Drive Letter and Paths.
• Click on Change and select the letter for the drive.
• Click OK, close all windows, then restart your computer.

Seagate Dashboard 2.0 not compatable with windows 10. Is there a fix?

I suggest you to try to update the driver for USB and check if it helps:

1. Press Windows Key + R Key.

2. Then type “devmgmt.msc” without the quotes and hit on
Enter Key.

3. Expand Mice and other pointing devices.

4. Right click on the driver and click on Universal Serial Bus Controllers.

5. Follow the instructions.



Also I request you to try installing the
Seagate dashboard drivers in compatibility mode.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

• 
  Download the Seagate dashboard driver from the manufacturer’s website.
  
• 
  Right-click on the driver setup file and click on
  ‘properties’.
  
• 
  Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box
  ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.

Windows 10 and Seagate External Hard Drive not connecting.

Tried your suggestion with TV USB port without success. I think my best step is contact with a Seagate certified agent. Thanks.
