Windows 10: Seagate external 5TB hard drive crashes & freezes windows explorer. Any possible fixes?

Recently borrowed a 5TB Seagate HDD after my old died on me. Had it since yesterday and it was working perfectly. Was able to transfer games and some other backup data to it no problem. Today, after launching a new game from it, the game and my PC froze while changing resolution settings. PC started beeping anytime I moved the mouse. After restarting the PC, everything would work normally except when trying to open Windows Explorer. Every. Single. Time. Kept restarting the PC also in safe mode and did some other troubleshooting to try and figure out what the issue was. Finally pinned it down

1. I would recommend you to check in Disk management, if the (Seagate) external hard drive is detecting in Disk management. Follow the below steps:

a. Press Windows Key + R and type diskmgmt.msc and hit
Enter.

b. Check if the system is detecting (Seagate) external hard drive and let us know.

2. What exactly happen when you try to access on the hard drive? Do you receive any error message/error code?

Cannot find (Seagate) external hard drive in File Explorer.

I seem to be having an issue with finding my Seagate BUP Slim external hard drive in File Explorer. It shows up in Devices and Printers, and in Device Manager. However, I'm unable to figure out how to access the files I've stored in it.

I tried restarting my computer with the Seagate plugged in, and I've also tried updating, uninstalling, and reinstalling the drivers.

Can someone tell me what's wrong with it? And possibly how to fix this issue?
