Windows 10: Search bar not working windows button not working, and setting closes instantly after opening

no idea whats cousing the problem already tried a few solutions from other forums and its still not working. I maybe know the cause of it but im still unsure. i was just trying out a few old game from dvd-s and then randomly i realised that basicly everything stopped working.Here are some thing i tryed:-restarting the pc-some youtube tutorials related to some powershell stuffno idea what was i doing-and some forums from here

Settings app instantly closes when I try to open it and I cannot type in the search bar

A little while back I stopped being able to type in my search bar and just today when I tried to open my settings app it flashes for a brief second and then closes instantly and I cannot change anything. I cannot reinstall Windows or anything since I can't open my settings and all the fixes I have tried haven't worked. Other Windows apps like the Microsoft Store work but not the settings or search bar as far I have noticed, could be others too. Wondering if there is any fix out there I have not tried yet?

 

Windows 10 START and SEARCH buttons don't work

For some reason both my main Windows button and Search buttons don't work. Other buttons on the Task Bar work as usual. Right click on either button gives a white-on-black context menu. Anyone have a suggestion, please?

 

Windows Search opens then instantly closes

I don't know what had happened, because just a day earlier the search bar was working correctly. I turned off my pc then opened it again the next day to found out that my search bar is not working properly. Every time i try to open it whether its by opening the start menu then typing or clicking the search bar the tab would appear then disappear in mere seconds. It showed search results for a moment but it instanly closes. Need help, thank you
