Windows 10: Search box dissapear

Hello.

I have Windows 10 Pro and on the taskbar I have the search box, „Type here to search”. But, sometimes, when I press Windows button it dissapear and never reappear unless I press again and again Windows button. In its place, the place becomes blue, like the rest of the taskbar. I want to clarify that I have blue color on taskbar, for personalisation.

Once or twice it never reappear until I restart the laptop.

  Right click on the task bar.
  
• 
  Go to Cortana.

  Click on show search box.
  

Now check if you are able to find search box.

• Select Cortana.
• Click Show search box.

I would suggest you to run search and indexing troubleshooter
and check. Please follow these steps:

• Right click on Start and select Control panel.
• Find troubleshooting and click on it.
• Click "View all" and then click "Search and Indexing".
  
  Click "Next" and follow on-screen instructions.
