Windows 10: Search box not popping

The search box in my 10 pro laptop is not popping up whenever I click on it nothing happens. Start is working just fine but this menu never shows. Restarting PC still didnt work. I run troubleshooter for search but nothing is working at all. I want to use this and it is just working fine before.

• 
  Right click on the task bar.
  
• 
  Go to Cortana.
  
• 
  Click on show search box.
  

Now check if you are able to find search box.

Thanks for the welcome and the suggestion however, I have already turned cortana off, but the search box pops up instead and I can't figure out how to stop this. Do you know?
