    I have some proprietary software I installed on an Intel NUC windows 11. It installed and worked initially. But when I restarted the machine and clicked on the start icon I got the following message: Search for app in the Store? I get the option to click yes or no. Sorry, I can't share a screen shot. It won't let me upload the file for whatever reason.I also tried to troubleshoot to test the compatibility of the program. It says I have a startup error:Unable to locate required Cef/CefSharp dependencies:Missing: CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exeMissing: CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.Core.dllMissing

    Hi Divya,

    Thank you for the update and I apologize for the delay in response.

    I would suggest you to try running Windows store app troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps and check if it helps.

    • Type troubleshooting in the
      Search       area on the taskbar.
    • Click on View all on the left panel of the Troubleshooting Windows.
    • Select Windows store Apps.
    • Follow the on screen instruction.
    I suggest you to check if Windows search service is running.

    • Press Windows + R key and type "services.msc" and press
      enter.
    • Locate the Windows Search service and right click on it.
    • Click on Properties and check the
      start option has been enabled.
    • Check if issue persists.

    Unable to download apps from Windows Store

    Hi Nishadha,

    Sorry for the delay in response.

    Do you face an issue with a particular\ all apps?

    As you have issue with the store downloading apps, try to run these inbuilt troubleshooters.

    We would suggest you to try the steps mentioned in the link

    • Type troubleshooting in the search box and hit Enter.
    • Click View all from the left pane and select Windows store apps.
    • Follow the on-screen instructions and check.

    and

    Follow the same steps to use the Windows update troubleshooter.
