Windows 10: Search Highlights and Bing Button Not showing in search

So, this is another issue that has happened me after I reseted my laptop. Now search highlights aint showing, its enable on both group policy and registry but it isn't appearing. I went to the secret administrator account and it appears there. Idk how to fix this issue. Im using Windows 11 Pro 23H2.

Search button and Wifi petitions

Hi,

I send you two ideas/petitions.

For saving battery, and if GPS doesn't consume much to do this, it would be cool:

• Register with GPS the most used wifis (office, home, other) and automatically turn off wifi when you're moving.
  
• If you don't move and you're using the phone, automatically turn on wifi, search for one and show notification about it. If no wifi found turn it automatically off again.

Don't understand why have another search buttons on screen when you have one physically on the phone!!. It's a natural action to press the search button in the app that you are using. I suggest these situations.

• If you are in tiles screen and user press search button, show Bing.
• If you are in app list and user press search button, show Search for apps.
  
• If you are using an app and it supports search button, show the app's Search page.
• If you are using an app and doesn't support search button, show Bing.
• If you are using an app and you want show Bing, hold finger on search button like Back button on multitask.

I have a Bing Chat button instead of the Search Highlights image

As per the team, it will show often to promote Bing chat, and will return to Search Highlights in a few days.

 

How to remove Bing search

a) What is the exact issue that you face with Bing?

b) Is the issue related to Bing app?

c) Do you get issues with bing search in Windows Edge?

If you wish to set a different search for Windows Edge, here are the steps which might help you to set it as default search engine or home page.

• Open Windows edge.
• Click on More actions (Three dots ...)
• Click on settings.
• Click on view advanced settings.
• Turn on "Show the home button"
• Enter the URL of the website which you want to set as your home page.
• Close the Windows edge and open it again you will be able to get you desired webpage as your home page.

For Internet Explorer, refer to the following steps:

a) Type Internet options into the start search box

b) Press enter

c) Go down to search and select settings,

d) You can change it here.
