Windows 10: Search Highlights icon on search bar missing

Hello to all,I've been having issues with my search bar icon and Bing highlights. After an update on my laptop, which was stuck in 100% and could not move, I turned on and off my laptop to "prevent" the update from taking a long time and not wanting to proceed. On the next login, and on a pristine internet connection, I suddenly realized the highlights icon on the search bar has gone away!After countless updates, I am still trying to figure out why the highlights icon has vanished from the search bar, despite having tried everything.I use Windows 10 64-bit 22H2 version according to the latest

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the settings to show the search icon.

• 
  Right click on the search bar
  
• 
  Click on search
  
• 
  Check show search icon

Search bar or highlights icon gets stuck at highlighting.

I know this has been difficult for you, Rest assured, I'm going to do my best to help you.

In case you do not like the new Search experience, you can turn off Search Highlights as well. For that, Right-click an empty area of the Taskbar, Click Search, and Uncheck "Search Highlights". This would turn off the Search Highlights feature, together with the icon in the search bar, and return to the previous design.

How to turn off Search Highlights in Windows 10

• Right-click the search bar.
  
• Scroll up to the nested menu under 'Search'.
  
• Untick the option called 'Show Search Highlights'.
