Windows 10: Search in start menu

Hi. I have recently switched from my windows 10 PC to my windows 10 laptop. I don't know of any software differences, so I do not know what may be the cause. When using my windows pc, I often quickly open the start menu to search something up by just starting to type in the start menu, for example a mathematc calculation, and I quickly get the answer I need simply from the preview of the search results in microsoft edge. On my laptop however, when I try this, a preview of search results does not show up, instead it just says "Open in browser", which I could do, but will take much longer. This problem is really annoying me, as I end up having to open chrome and search up my query there. In shorter terms, it takes me much longer on my laptop then it did on my PC. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it? I have restarted and updated the Laptop twice now, but I'm still having the same problem.

Start Menu Search

Hi, Yes. I tried changing my primary SSD from MBR to GPT via Ease Us Partition Tool. All my other drives besides the main successfully converted but not my primary disk. When the application was trying to convert the disk I received a Kernal In Page Error.
