Windows 10: search in virtual desktop overview is lagging

I'm having a very odd problem.

I like to use the search feature on the virtual desktop overview (see pic) to search for files that are buried deep on one of my NAS.

Last time i opened a file on a NAS that isn't always on, wich has the same filename as a file on my always on NAS, and now everytime i search that file it lags because, i assume, it's looking for it on the not available NAS.

Is there a way to turn off that behaviour of looking for network resources on the the virtual desktop overview search function?

Any help is appreciatead.

Click +Desktop to add Virtual Desktop

Hover your mouse to Desktop1 to show list of open Windows

Drag and drop each Windows to target virtual desktop
