  1. Search in Windows Explorer Windows 11 not finding pdfs

When I do a 'search' in Windows Explorer Windows 11, results for Microsoft documents Word, Excel, etc are discovered but not pdfs - even though I know the words are contained within the pdfs. Anyone got any suggestions? I've checked to make sure pdfs are selected in the Advanced Indexing Options and have run the indexing trouble shooter but nothing seems to fix the issue.

    Windows Explorer Replacement?

    j0 all.

The thing is, I have a very annoying problem with the Windows Explorer: It crashes. Quite often and quite random. I have NO idea what the problem is, and I've searched the computer for viruses, trojans and everything, but there is nothing I can find.

So, I decided to drop it and use something else. Any suggestions? It must be easy to use, of course. *Stick Out Tongue Search in Windows Explorer Windows 11 not finding pdfs :p

    Peace

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK
