Windows 10: Search menu & searching

Hi I’m currently on Windows 10 (18363) in S mode.

Looking for some help with the following:

1. 
   I used to have classic shell installed to make the search box appear in the start menu (like XP). I see on windows 10 you can have it on the toolbar now, but is it possible to just have it show on the start menu?
   
   
2. 
   When searching for files using windows explorer I keep getting results that show type “shortcut”. Is it possible to turn this off or hide those results?
   

Edit: I was able to remove the .LNK (shortcuts) from appearing in the search results using filename & NOT *.LNK ....... not crazy about this solution. Would prefer just not having it show up.

I also tried removing the .LNK from the index and that didn’t seem to work.

Search Question

Which is why I suggested he try there instead. TPU is too limited of a user base to search here alone for anything gaming related.

Search Question

I've done some searching on here over the years, and mostly been aggravated at the results. Case in point: 5 minutes ago I went to search for anyone having issues with 5.1 audio on Wolfenstein new order. So, I started simple with
New Order
. that didn't go well. So, I swapped to "New Order". That gave me this result

Is there any way to change or improve our search engine? Or is there a better way to search for something like that?
