Windows 10: search - some files not found

Hi,

Why some files are not found on my system ?

For instance, a folder have files "02-Bad Boy" and "03-Any Time".

If I do ctrl-f "Bad", I found "02-Bad Boy".
If I do ctrl-f "Any", I don't find "03-Any Time".

I have to type "*Any", ans asterisk before, to find that file. Why ?

Just for kicks, try putting a single * mark before the number you type (no space). So for example, try:

*49103

Your original search would probably work fine, if the files had a space before the number instead of a dash. The way that it is right now where the number is strung together with the rest of the file name, the search system doesn't see the number as a "separate
word".

Using an asterisk at the beginning tells the search system that you want to look for any file that ends with those numbers regardless of what it starts with. The asterisk is a wolf card meaning "anything" followed by your number.
