    Search through all drives.

So I have set up my SSD and using it for my OS (Win10) and my F drive (1TB HDD) as a drive for my programs and documents, however when I try to search for items vis Windows Start Menu it only shows items for my C drive, does anyone know how to make it to search both drives for documents/files?

    :)

Could you please give a little bit more of details? What did you do exactly to try to impede people of accessing your drives?

    Search through all drives.

Hi, can you clarify "search for items via Windows Start Menu"?

Do you perhaps mean the Cortana search box on the taskbar?
    Or the search in Explorer?

I agree- that does work- it seems ONLY indexed items are found that way.
(Personally, I never rely on Windows search: Locate32 (freeware, a fast indexer with 'immediate' results and option to search content too) wins hands down.. and others will have their preferences like Everything...)

Oh.. and I noted my Windows index locations have reverted to the default.. presumably another consequence of the November TH2 upgrade...*Mad

    Search through all drives.

It's effectively Everything, but with more flexible search options, including searching within text documents. It can be set to update its index automatically. You can limit the scope of your search, use wild card characters, specify where to search, date, size, etc etc - and very small. You can specify multiple items to search for.

The help file gives a whole lot more detail of how you can specify searches.

    A 64bit version is available.
    Locate32

It does seem to be an abandoned project now- but it's just good.
