    This is on Windows 11, I've also had this problem on Windows 10. The problem is none of the search bars will work. Clicking on the search icon, the search window pops up briefly but then goes away. Clicking on the search bar in the startup window does the same. And the search bar in file manager does nothing. I had this problem in the past and ended up creating a new local user profile and the problem went away but it has now come back. I haven't installed anything new to trigger this. I have updated to the latest available update. I have done all the suggestions like, the sfc scan, the

    Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
    If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

    P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
    Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
    What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

    I suggest you to run the program in compatibility mode by following the steps provided below and check if the issue persist.
