Windows 10: SearchUi.exe is STILL missing

I did every step in SearchUI.exe is missing - Microsoft Communityand my computer will not find files that are clearly present in the criterion of the search done from Windows Explorer I can see them, Explorer cannot find them.I have rebuilt the index and tried a number of other things such asFix problems in Windows Search - Windows Client Microsoft Learnrunning all the scripts in powershell.... etc etc...it would be quite inconvenient to reformat the drive and reinstall win10 then all my applications. is there ANYTHING else anyone can suggest to get search working in Windows Explorer. S

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

 

Windows 10 Crash: Explorer.exe not responding and SearchUI and Shell Experience Host suspended

"Explorer. exe is Not Responding and SearchUI and SellExperienceHost are Suspended."

I had the same thing this morning, couldn't open files, drag and drop, to any folder in explorer. Rebooted (and it was a long reboot) and it fixed itself.

I suggest that you perform the steps below and check if it helps resolve the issue.

• Uninstall all those apps (using revo uninstaller) which are giving you msvcr100.dll and msvcp100.dll files missing error
• Open the link below

And download and install Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2012 Update 4.

3. Download VSU_4\vcredist_x64.exe if you’ll be installing this on Windows 10 64bit.

4. Download VSU_4\vcredist_x86.exe if you’ll be installing this on Windows 10 32bit.
