    Second External Display Sporadically Failing to Display


    Hi,I have come across a weird glitch that I am curious to know if any others have had this happen. There are multiple factors at play and I can't seem to deduce which is causing this weird glitch and if there is another way to fix it than the work around I have found.My users at my organization sporadically have problems with their second external monitor failing to display. When this has happened, there have been no changes to my user's devices from the last time they logged in. My users exclusively use Lenovo laptops/workstations and have a USB-C hub that grants extra HDMI outlets in order t

    Hi,

    Thank you for posting your query in Windows 10.

    I understand that you are unable to use external display with windows 10.

    This usually occurs if the video driver was not installed properly or not configured correctly.so I would suggest you to reinstall the drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

    I suggest you to follow the steps below and see if it helps:

    Uninstall Display Adapter drivers

    I suggest you to uninstall the display drivers and reinstall them in compatibility mode.

    To uninstall the driver, follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + R
    • Type devmgmt.msc
    • Right click on the driver you want to uninstall
    • Click on Uninstall
    • Restart the system
    After the computer restarts, install the driver in compatibility mode.

    • Select the setup file
    • Right click on it and click on
      properties
    • Click on Compatibility tab
    • Select the operating system
    • Click Ok.

    When the computer restarts the driver re-installs its self. and also how would I go about going into compatability mode. Would this be through internet explorer?

    Any insite on this would be a great help.

    Second External Display Sporadically Failing to Display

    External second display wrong size

    I have two extra displays connected to my laptop, and my largest one (technically a TV but whatever) is appearing the wrong size relative to my internal laptop display. My laptop's display is set to 1920x1080, and my TV is at a recommended 1366x768. Here are two pictures showing my situation.
