Windows 10: second hand PC with MAK license key?

I recently bought a used PC, with Windows 10, on eBay. It had an asset tag on it, so clearly came from a business of some sort. It didn't come with a Windows product key and I was told it has a 'digital license'. Belarc says that the key is not stored on the computer. I found a script tool that displayed more info but I've lost the link to the tool - irritating. Anyway, the output said that the product key channel is 'Volume:MAK'.


However, another section has: "https://activation-v2.sls.microsoft.com/SLActivateProduct/SLActivateProduct.asmx?configextension=Retail" - which is confusing.


I am concerned that this is an enterprise key and that it might no longer be valid for me to use as an individual.

Can anyone clarify the position for me?

* Please click START the search and open CMD as ADMIN.

Yes, you are right, the volume keys are for the enterprise users to use within their organization which bought volume license from Microsoft. As an individual user, you need to have your own copy of Windows to use.
