Windows 10: Second hard drive suddenly not recognizable anymore.

My PC broke down and I managed to rescue the data from my boot SSD via parted magic. The problem now is that my secondary HDD doesn't get recognized by my PC. I can find it in the device manager and see it in prated magic but can't use it. I disconnected the HDD during the entire process of rescuing the data and reinstalling windows. I did a similar thing half a year ago and could reconnect the HDD without any problems. But now this is happening. I never encrypted any of my hard drives.

The first picture is my SSD, I reinstalled Windows on. Everything works fine.

This is the second picture of my troubled HDD. When I check the rescue option in parted magic it says no partition is bootable.

Hard drive not recognised anymore

The seagate hard drive I've been using with a long time, has suddenly started to not be recognised by my laptop anymore when I was transferring files. It now alerts me to it being plugged in, but then the same sound happens about 3seconds later to suggest
I've disconnected it. But I haven't! All my photos (memories) are on this drive that I now have no access to. I've tried uninstalling the Universal Serial Bus controllers and restarting the laptop but it didn't work?! Please help!

Based on the screenshot that you've provided, it seems that the second hard drive is not recognized by your computer. For us to resolve the issue, we recommend that you run the troubleshooter for hardware and devices. Follow these steps on how to run the
Hardware and Devices troubleshooter:

• On Cortana search, type troubleshooting.
• Select Troubleshooting from the list.
• Click View all at the left pane of the window.
• Select Hardware and Devices.
• Click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

I realize that you are facing issue with the second HDD not getting recognized on the PC. I will try to help you with this issue.

Please answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

  Is the second HDD an internal drive or an external drive?
  
• 
  Do you see this drive in the Disk Management screen?
  

Suggest you to run the hardware troubleshooter. Once this is done, restart the computer to check if this helps.

  Press “Windows key + X” to click on “Control Panel”.

  Click on “Troubleshooting” and click on “View all”.
  

Click on “Hardware and Devices” to run the troubleshooter. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if this helps.

In the Action menu of Device manager, select “Scan for Hardware changes”
option. This will force the computer to recognize any hardware changes. Once the driver is installed, close all windows and restart the computer.
