Windows 10: Second monitor flickering when certain applications are open

Hello,I am using a Toshiba 50l1400u as a second monitor for my desktop which is an Asus M51AC. I have a NVIDIA GeForce 625 GT display driver and my tv is connected via HDMI. All of a sudden my TV screen started flickering on and off when I extend my display and move certain applications over to the TV. For example, when chrome or vs code is open on the TV second monitor, the screen flickers on and off. When I have my tradingview application open, it does not. If I have both chrome and tradingview on the screen, and tradingview is the application that is the most forward showing application, th

Can you set certain applications to not display on second monitor?

NOT looking to open certain applications on a certain monitor. Sorry if this is in the wrong topic.

I just set up my dual monitors, and I'd like to know if it's possible to have an application not display on the second monitor. When I drag a window halfway off the screen on the first monitor it then appears on the second monitor. Obviously, one way around
this is to just drag the window to the other side of the monitor, but I'm hoping there is a way around to not having certain applications appear on the second monitor.

Is there such a thing? Thanks in advance.

 

The second monitor flickers and turns off

Hello, I have a laptop and I use a second monitor



I have noticed that when I browse certain web pages, my monitor turns off or flickers to off.



When I view those web pages on the Laptop screen, the second monitor turns back on and works fine. The laptop screen does not turn off or flicker.



The second monitor doesn't turn off when I'm watching videos or the like.



It turns off on certain web pages for no apparent reason.

When, for example, I play minecraft classic in the browser, there are times when it starts to flicker or turns off.



When I browse some web pages like a blog, sometimes it turns off.



I understand that it turns off playing minecraft classic because of the graphic requirements, but I don't understand why it turns off on web pages that don't cause any kind of unusual GPU or CPU consumption.



I have looked at the manufacturer's page and I have no drivers to install.



I use windows 11.

 

Can you set certain applications to not display on second monitor?

For further assistance, we would like to clarify, are you asking if it is possible to open a certain app on the second monitor right away? For example, when you open Internet Explorer, you would want it to open on the second monitor instead of the main monitor?
