Windows 10: Second monitor refuses to work

My second monitor uses VGA, and that goes into a HDMI adapter into the HDMI port on my GPU. It suddenly just stopped working for some reason, which I first thought was because I had just changed graphics card Radeon RX Vega, but after trying to reinstall drivers and so on, it changed nothing. I tried putting in the HDMI adapter first and then the VGA cable, and it worked for 5 min before it disconnected the second monitor again. If I try doing it now, it doesn't work at all. I have had no problems at all before changing graphics card hence why I thought that might be the problem.I also tri

I accidentally hit the update button instead of postpone and now my second monitor does not work.

I suggest you to unplug the cable from the monitor and connect to the second monitor, and check if it works.

Also, suggest you to follow the below steps, and check if it helps.
1. Press Windows + X, and select Device manager.
2. Check if the second monitor is listed under Monitor.

Second monitor turned black, worked before
