Windows 10: Second monitor taskbar only displays applications opened on that monitor.

My taskbar on my main monitor includes all applications oppened on both and all pinned applications, However my second mointor only has the applications opened specifically on that monitor. Restarting windows explorer and changing the taskbar setting completely works however its only temporary and stops working again when restarting PC or longer use.

It doubles it, at least in the way he wants, I don't know what you want. The taskbar on the second monitor is seperate from the taskbar on the first. The programs open on the second monitor show up on the second task bar.

If you are in build number: 14342, I suggest you to follow the steps below to
hide taskbar on second monitor and check if it helps:

• 
  Right click on the Taskbar and Go to
  settings.

  Click on the taskbar option.

  Under Multiple displays you can turn off the option for
  Show taskbar on all displays.

How to auto-hide taskbar of the second monitor keeping unhide in the primary monitor?

I suggest you to follow the steps below to auto-hide taskbar on second monitor and check if it helps:

Steps:

1. Right click on the taskbar and select
Properties.

2. In the Taskbar tab under
Multiple displays, Uncheck the Show taskbar on all displays box.

3. Click on Apply
and Ok.

This will display the taskbar only on the primary monitor.
