Windows 10: Secure boot and save files on uninstalling and reinstalling windows

I need to do a "clear installation" of windows 11 because I want to be able to enable secure boot on my pc. Currently I have an ASRock motherboard and when I first set up my PC I did something wrong and I kind of put off the issue for a while so now I've used my PC for a while and I have lots of images and videos and stuff that I'd like to keep. So can someone tell me the process of saving all of my data and enabling secure boot then reinstalling windows 11 in the safest way possible. I would also like to know if I do reinstall windows would I have to pay the fee again to enable it. I don't kn

Here is a statement from a Kernal Developer at Red Hat:

I'm not sure this exploits the legacy BIOS but rather it exploits the legacy boot method on MBR drives, injecting a signed key before the OS boots, which you are correct in that it has nothing to do with Windows 8. And the simplest fix would just be to require boot drives use GPT when Secure Boot is enabled in UEFI.

So Linux is switching to secure boot also? Or they have to because of UEFI?

 

Saves log files ?

You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.
