Windows 10: Secure boot option grayed out in BIOS in HP laptop?

My laptop model is HP Laptop 15q-bu09TU. I am using Win 10 64 bit. In my BIOS the secure boot option is grayed out, hence I can't change it. I need to enable secure boot option. I tried to disable Legacy Boot menu, but no help. I also set Administrator password but he secure boot option is still grayed out. Please help me to enable secure boot option.

I am sorry to hear that I took that suggestion from the following post where a user claimed to have solved this same issue

"Start the machine and press F12 to get into the boot options. Don't push F2 because these options are most likely GRAYED OUT in there (they were for me)

Go to change boot mode setting

Select Legacy Boot Mode Secure Boot Off

Restart and push F2 to go into BIOS

Ensure options are enabled (i.e. problem sorted)

Change boot mode back to UEFI Boot Mode Secure Boot On and reboot again

Press F2 to get into the BIOS.

Voila, the BIOS options should be enabled as they should be. RE the Admin Password: My Admin password was the same as the Master password so I assume by entering this I was also able to enter the BIOS with that. Why on earth the options were grayed out/disabled,
however, is still beyond me. Changing to Legacy Boot Mode and then back again to UEFI fixed the problem."

laptop doesnt boot automatically

This is what happened.

1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

Secure Boot Option Greyed out in Surface 3 BIOS

I am trying to Dual Boot/Install Parrot OS on my Surface and i need to disable secure boot.

This is the issue in step form:

1: I access the bios password screen and Press "ENTER" (Without entering a Password) and access the BIOS interface. (Note. NOT the UEFI)

2: I go to select Secure Boot, but i can only access Device Information as all other options are unavailable.

I do not know how to enable the BIOS Options and have searched endlessly to no avail.
