Windows 10: Secure Boot Violation on B650m Aorus Elite AX

For context I’m a Pc tech with a small company, and I can usually get around bios errors with ease but this one has stumped me. I was playing a game called Valorant and got a pop-up message that secure boot needed to be enabled in order to play. So I enabled secure boot and when I tried to reboot my pc after saving changes I got a bios error saying “Secure Boot Violation - Invalid signature detected. Check Secure Boot Policy in Setup.” When I try to change the secure boot options, I can look at the secure boot tab but cannot make any changes. I’ll attach a picture of what I see.

TPM 2.0 Enabled but Secure Boot State off?

So I am trying to install windows 11 and I'm struggling to figure out how to get secure boot enabled. I have CSM disabled and enabled secure boot in the BIOS but system information is still showing it to be off. My system is formatted GPT as well so i am struggling. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have the B550 AORUS ELITE AX V2 motherboard.

I understand that you receive a warning regarding Secure Boot Violation when booting the PC. For further clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:

1. 
   
   1. What is the make and model of the PC?
      
   2. Which build version of Windows 10 are you using currently?
      

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and see if that helps.



Method 1:



Try loading the BIOS to default settings and see if the issue persist. You may want to get in touch with the manufacturer of the PC for further assistance with resetting BIOS.



In addition, you can check if any update for BIOS is available and try updating the BIOS by contacting the manufacturer.



Note: Modifying BIOS/ complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) settings incorrectly can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from booting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems
resulting from the configuring of BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Modifications of the settings are at your own risk.



Method 2:



Disable Driver Signature Enforcement, and see if you are able to boot to Windows normally.

1. Now press Windows +
   S key together to open Search.
   
2. Now type CMD and select Run as administrator.
   
3. Accept the UAC prompts.
   
4. Type in the following command and hit Enter:
   
   bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks on
   
5. Restart the PC
