Windows 10: Secure Stolen Laptop

My company recently had a colleague working remotely. They have now left the company and not returned company property including laptop etc....We have the password, but location is off. Can it still be locked?I had removed it from My microsoft account thinking that it will be locked out, but i can now see that the laptop is showing on the microsoft account. password still in control with 2 factor authentication.What can be done to ensure that they can't log in to that user nor to the laptop at all How can I double check?The laptop is and has been off since then as well as location

I suggest that you report it to the Police.

No. unless you had special software and hardware designed for that purpose already on the computer.

Be sure to contact the System Maker who can help provide serial numbers and other information you might need to report it to the police. Be sure to report it to the Police as many are recovered and they go unclaimed due to no report. Check Craig's list and
other sites in your area.
