Windows 10: security 30 day period ends today still not accessible.

My 30 day waiting period for security access ends today and it still says not accessible. Is it a full 30 days from the minute to minute I changed my security info, or do I have a problem?

30 Day Waiting Period

We moved, and I bought my wife a new Lumia 950. She was prompted to update her security info. She no longer has access to the old email so she indicated that. It blocker her with the well known "30 day waiting period." The period is supposed to end at the
end of January, 2016.

She CAN send/receive email from her computer, but she CANNOT send/receive email from her Lumia 950. It just continues to give her errors saying that she needs to fix her settings, she needs to wait 30 days, etc.

The phone is having all kind of other major issues - won't download anything (possibly because the account issue, random "low storage" errors when there is plenty of storage.

 

End of Trial Period - What's Next?

I've just bought a new HP computer running Windows 10 and my 30 day trial period for Office 365 is almost up. I am confused about two things. Please help me.

• I only use Word. Can I purchase only the latest version of Word without having to buy Office 365? If so,
  what is the URL to purchase only Word?
• Do I need to purchase Windows 10 before the end of my 30 day trial period for Office 365. It is already running Windows 10, but I am confused if Windows 10 is part of the Office 365 package.
  Have I already purchased Windows 10 with my new computer or do I need to purchase it?

Hotmail account locked - I have to wait 30 days to get the reset link

The 30-day waiting period helps Microsoft stop unauthorized people from trying to completely take over an account that isn't theirs. For example, an unauthorized person obtaining an account password through phishing or shared passwords across third party platforms.
This waiting period gives the real account owner enough time to be alerted of any major changes and to cancel it if they didn't make those changes.

During this 30-day period, you'll still be able to access most Microsoft services. You won't, however, be able to do things that require a security code, like changing your password, viewing billing information, or buying new apps or games from Microsoft Store
or on Xbox.

After the process of resetting your security information has started, you must wait the full 30 days for it to complete. However, if you regain access to a piece of your original security info, you can cancel the replacement yourself.

They can't expedite this process. After 30 days you can now change the security details of the account.
