Windows 10: Security changes requires set up of new PIN in Windows 11.

I was having problems with my computer, and the manufacturer agreed to replace it under warranty. I took out the SSD main drive from the old computer, thinking I could just swap it with the new drive I was getting in the replacement computer. These two computers were identical models with identical features. I boot up and everything loads until Windows sign on, when I am told there had been a security change and I needed to reset my PIN. "Just click here." I click and absolutely nothing happens. I try this repeatedly, and nothing happens. I reboot, and the situation stays the same. I

Windows 11 pin says "Organization requires pin change"

When I log into Windows 11 Home edition I use a pin. After a few weeks it will prompt me to change my pin and shows "Organization requires pin change". This is a personal computer and there is no organization, I do not want to have to change my pin every few weeks. I have seen solutions for Windows 10 for this problem but those do not work for me with Windows 11.

How do I disable changing my pin every few weeks?

You can remove the pin of account b by following the steps below.

First log in to account b.

1. Open Settings on Windows 11.
   
2. Click on Accounts.
   
3. Click the Sign-option tab.
   
4. Under the “Ways to sign in” section, click the PIN (Windows Hello) setting.
   
5. Click the Remove button in the “Remove this sign-in option” setting.
   
6. Once you complete the steps, the PIN will be removed from the account, but you will continue to have access to the account with your password.
   

 

Setting PIN to default without changing password

My computer was previously set to a default PIN but that changed suddenly for no apparent reason (I wasn't fooling around in settings or anything security related). I can't get it to revert back to the PIN being the default choice for login. Other forum
threads suggest removing that password but that is impossible. If you click change, it REQUIRES you to type in a new password and there is no option to remove or delete the password.

Furthermore, I use that password on my other computer rather than the PIN and don't want to delete it in the first place. So how can I set the PIN back to default?
