Windows 10: Security check boxes are in grayed out state in Windows 10 (1809)

Discus and support Security check boxes are in grayed out state in Windows 10 (1809) in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; There are check boxes under Security messages and Maintenance messages are showing as grayed out.     Security check boxes are in grayed out state in Windows 10 (1809)


    There are check boxes under Security messages and Maintenance messages are showing as grayed out. How can I make it Enable/Disable?

    I am doing so because I have Malwarebytes turned on and I don't want Windows Defender!

    The check boxes showing on the screenshot you've provided are part of the notifications. There are options such as the
    Windows Update and Microsoft Account that was grayed out automatically by the system. This is to ensure that you're going to get all the important notifications especially when it comes to the security of your account or device.

    Therefore, we suggest that you retain the said settings.
