Windows 10: Security concerns with Windows 10 1903 failing updates.

I have had update issues (along with everyone else) for months. I've tried several 'fixes' but I've only been able to get a few updates. It doesn't appear that there is any urgency to address these problems but my primary concern is the security patches I'm no longer receiving.

My question is, can security patches be downloaded separately from these failing cumulative updates? If so, where can I obtain them?

Windows 10 Update

Well just noticed a pretty large one pop up coming in at 914MB, seems it makes some pretty serous updates.

Windows 10 fails to update


When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
