    Security Provider

Hi, While Malwarebytes was updating I noticed the Windows Security warning sign appear on the systray. I clicked on it and the 'Security Providers' settings window appeared showing that Malwarebytes was temporarily switched off. (I happened to notice as I was looking at the page, that Windows Defender was on. I took little notice of this.) However, when Malwarebytes finished updating, it forced me to go on the premium version for the limited time. This seems to always happen - which I hate. However, what I also noticed was that when Malwarebytes turned on, Defender turned off. I don't want Mb to run as my antivirus; I want Defender, and to run Malwarebytes when I want to. However, that's not necessarily the problem. I cannot find the Security Providers page. I have tried to search for it, both through Windows Search and the Settings Search. Nothing comes up. Where can I find it? Matt

    :)

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Internet provider security for windows 10

I'm not familiar with 'wow internet provider' and don't know what kind of 'internet security' you're paying for...

But, IMO, that shouldn't be necessary.

That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.
