Windows 10: Security Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 KB972222 Stuck at...

Hi,


I faced a problem that Window Update can't install an update for "Security Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Service Pack 1 KB972222". It's always stuck at Installing: 0% each time i click Check for Updates. And each time stuck at 0%, it creates a folder with random name in my D: drive such as 6c6387bf6d2f36739756bd3ef3, 9383767546c85b2c10208d8d, c7e22f6cd85110fd528aa98d98c05c6b,... up to now, i have 5 folders like this in my D: drive and i cant delete them.


When i select folder to delete it ask for administrator permission, i click "Continue" then it pop up a window to confirm make change with name "File Operation" then i click yes and it pop up one more board say "Folder Access Denied" and ask "Permission from SYSTEM to make changes to this folder". I tried to change permission from Security Tab for every single user or SYSTEM but when apply change to Subfolder and File in it, it appears error boards for each File and subfolder in the Main folder i want to delete like:

An error occurred while applying security information to:


D:\6c6387bf6d2f36739756bd3ef3\xxxx xxxx= is the name of Subfolder or files in 6c6387bf6d2f36739756bd3ef3 folder


Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied"


Anyone faced this and solved it can help me please ?

Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2565063):

 

Uninstall Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack Chinese Dialog Box

When I try to run Windows Update it fails on "Security Update for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package (KB2538243)."

One of the fixes after search was to uninstall it and then run update again.

When I click on it in Uninstall Programs I get a Windows Installer chinese dialog box.






Running malwarebytes now . But any help would be appreciated

Getting a bit miffed with this error. I 've tried almost everything I can find on the Windows support pages they recommend. All the answers are the same copy and paste answers that never work. Now this is stopping any other updates and driver installs.

Anyone here have a way of getting this sorted please ?
