Windows 10: Security Update for Microsoft Windows 11 KB5008215 on Zebra Label Printer LP 2824-z and LP...

Windows 11 installation worked with the Zebra Label Printer LP 2824-z and LP 2824 Plus. As soon as Security Update for Microsoft Windows 11 KB5008215 the printers stop working.I uninstalled he Security Update for Microsoft Windows 11 KB5008215 and printers started to work.Anyone any suggestions or is their a patch?Thank You.

New Win 10 Creators Update making Zebra LP 2844 or ZP 450 Not working

This weekends Win10 Creators update 5/21/17, is somehow effecting our Zebra LP 2844 and ZP 450 Printers. Reinstalled the drivers, reset the printers, still not printing. Please help!

When trying to print, it just gives me the error of "Error - Printing in status. No specific error #.

Windows 10 Update now Zebra 2844 Printer Problems with Endicia Pro and Dazzle

Got it "mostly working" now - call it 95%.

Driver for the LP2844 Zebra is listed on the Zebra website as compatible with windows 7.

So right clicking on the Dazzle software icon --> Properties --> Compatability Tab

Inside there - check box next to "Run As" and select Windows 7.

After a reboot - Zebra LP 2844 would print labels and not leave "data" in the print queue so the next label and the next label and so on will print.

However, every now and then (every 4 or 5 days) - the printer queue will misbehave as documented earlier in the thread.

I may try "Run As" Windows XP if it gets really annoying in the future.

Zebra does not seem to be planning to update the driver software so this fix might be all we can do.

 

New Win 10 Creators Update making Zebra LP 2844 or ZP 450 Not working

1. After the scan the following showed up. none is related to zebra

c:\intel\wireless

c:\windowns\systems32

2. Scan for both computer and printer, nothing. The printer only shows up in print queues, but when we scan for hardware changes and update, it does nothing and says its up to date.

3. Asked me to reset, which i did. Didn't print. Then did the same under printer/zdesigner lp 2844, Still doesn't print.
