    Not sure either of the 2 updates has contributed to your problem.
    But, if you suspect so, uninstall them, one at a time, and see what happens.

    I have both updates in my system and I have no issue whatsoever.

    Yeah, think I'll just use my last image backup.....12/30 to see if that fixes this stupid searchUI problem.....can't think of anything else.....

    Thanks Vaio 7 But I already fixed this issue by simply restoring one of my image backups. I was not having any problems with the kb3124200 update anyhow. That update was installed almost 2 weeks ago, and my problem with searchIU just started today.

    Like I posted, my ISSUE IS FIXED, and it had nothing to do with ANY past updates OR Cortana. Everything is running just fine now. Mike....
