    A possible solution to Internet explorer 11 not working properly in W10 with Edge.

    IE 11 and Edge both worked fine with Trusteer until the MS Security update in January. After that IE 11 slooowww, unresponsive, flakey, jumping pages, etc. Performing all the Windows diagnostics and finding nothing wrong I gave up troubleshooting with
    built in diagnostics and reset this or that. Finally by trial and error uninstalled some programs 1 by 1 and it turned out to be the uninstall of Trusteer that cleared everything up. The MS January Security update has to be the cause.

    Hi,

    I tried this with IE and Chrome and it did not work on my end. Does it have to be an earlier version of IE than the one that comes standard in Windows 10?

    Yeah, Internet Explorer 9 was the last version available for Vista.

    Support is 5 years mainstream and 5 years extended. Mainstream support for Vista ended in 2012, however Windows Vista SP2 with Internet Explorer 9 will be on extended support until 11 April 2017, meaning it will still get security fixes until then. But that's only a year and 4 months away anyway.
