Windows 10: Security Updates in advance of Creator glitch

I cannot complete the mandatory security settings update required for the Creator update.

That is because I am visually impaired and operate my computer monitor in portrait setting and Windows 10 at the 150% magnification setting.

I update the settings but I cannot complete the process because the right side of the pop up window is off the screen. I suspect there is a button there to press to complete the update process but I cannot see it. I cannot reduce the magnification or change the orientation without severely limiting my vision resolution.

The only way I have to clear the window is a cold boot. Once that is done the nagging has come back now three times.

They were to call me a half an hour ago. Does anyone have any experience with this. Am I wasting my time.

Have any solutions for me?

Ransomware attack on Windows 10 PCs.... question

This latest ransomware attack has me wondering something, because the glitch was found within Windows, as I am now unable to look at a complete list of updates outside of what was recently updated in Windows Updates.

In the Creators Update, there's no way of finding all of your updates. How do I know that the Creators Update is safe and secure from this latest ransomware attack?

 

Last Update and Version Created On

With respect to Windows Defender Security Center in Creator's Update, I note that the definition files have the same date and time under

"Version Created on" and "Last Update." However, the last update could not have occurred at the time indicated as the PC was not on at that time. I did another manual update of the definitions and the dates and times are the same again. Has anyone else
noted this behavior in the Creator's Update?

I have never had any other security software on this PC in case anyone is wondering.

Microsoft did not respond to the above.

I called them via Skype. When they finally called back I stayed on hold for 10 minutes, then again gave up in frustration.
