I more often than ever feel as I have a hacker disrupting my files and interrupting emails.

    I am experiencing things like;

    • file names changing randomly
    • files moving to other folders and changing format
    • documents that were once complete and approved will loose entire paragraphs
    • pictures and videos that I once downloaded from my cell phone now cannot be opened on my PC
    • emails requesting me to finish unsubscribing
    • stored passwords are missing from my PC
    • I receive an unusual amount of junk email
    • emails requesting me to to complete my profile on sites I do not visit.
    • email folders msn, gmail constantly loose saved emails, important emails just gone

I realise that the internet is full of phishing programs designed to lure a person in, to, whatever. On the other side of these concern is a former customer of mine, The person is a narcissistic sociopath that upon our falling out, the person started a smear campaign on review sites with the intent to completely destroy my business and assassinate my character. We are currently in a lawsuit for regarding his online statements and false accusations. Trade Libel, Defamation and Conspiracy to Cause Public Humiliation.

The person is pretty knowledgeable where computer, vpn, trolling, and has gone as far as to post untruthful business reviews using my name and other peoples names from my google contacts list to post more and more poor reviews. My name and names of people in my contacts list.

Please let me know if I am just experiencing the usual stuff that window 10 has been frustrating other windows 10 users have reported they experience and therefore I'm not alone. Thank you in advance if you can help me understand identifiers or tracks left by this person.

    :)

That made me so facepalm. Some people have absolutely no clue. I hope they don't take you for granted with all this you're doing for them.

SonicWall is a good security product, so Mindweaver's suggestion sounds like a good one and should make for a rather bigger baby step. Let's hope they take it.

    Microsoft Edge TLS Security

After trying everything (not a lot of steps) listed in the Microsoft Edge support site, I did a wider search and found this very simple youtube video that fixed it immediately:

For those who prefer not to click links the steps are simple:

    1. Click in the Cortana search bar next to the Win 10 Start button

    2. Type internet options

    3. Select internet options (control panel) from the list

    4. Click on the advanced tab

    5. Scroll down to the security section

    6. Make sure the following are all clicked:
    Use SSL 3.0
    Use TLS 1.0
    Use TLS 1.1
    Use TLS 1.2

    7. Click apply

    8. Refresh the page that was giving the error and it should now connect.

Hope this helps, it was a 30 second fix after hours of pounding my head against the error with the Support site suggestions.
