  1. SecurityHealthTray crashes with Bad Image since kb5007651 1.0.2303.27001

Hi,Since this service pack installed yesterday, the service try is now crashing on startup, and all of the windows defender and windows security ui's are not working. It crashes on boot with the following:Windows/System32/SecurityHealth/1.0.2303.27001-0/SecurityHealthSSO.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error.Error status 0xc000012f.Windows Defender seems not to be running, what can we do to repair it?We have tried resetting the windows security app, dism /online /clean-image /restorehealth and sfc /scannow, and the problem isnt resolved.Thanks.

    :)

  2. Windows and ISO 27001

    Hello Elise,

Thank you for your response and time.

I think we are out of sync on the topic here.

My question was not how to have Windows be ISO 27001 compliant in my environment, but instead, I need to know if Microsoft's ISO 27001 certification applies to the Windows OS product? With it not being mentioned "directly" on the ISO 27001 certification as applicable products, as long as the development environment for Windows is within the Azure world, it would apply.

    thank you!

Bad Image Errors - dll files changing to 0 bytes

    Hi
Have an unusual problem (to me anyway)

Last week I got "Bad Image" errors with Adobe Lightroom (the program had worked OK previously). Two .dll files were listed as corrupt and in Explorer both were shown has having 0 bytes size. Re-installation resolved the problem.
Today I have had the same "bad image" error with another program. Techsmith SnagIt. Once again it was .dll files and they show in explorer as 0 bytes. The timestamp on the 0 byte dlls is the time of the error i.e. today (not when the files were installed).

What I've done so far :
Ran McAfee viruscan across all disks - no problems reported.
Ran Malwarebytes - no problems reported

Went to the properties for the disk drive and under "Tools" ran error check - nothing found
The disk is an SSD so I went to Samsung Magician which shows drive condition as good and S.M.A.R.T. shows wear levelling count at Current Value 99. I do not use Rapid Mode.

The problems are happening on a Samsung 850 Evo 500GB

    Any suggestions welcome

    Dave

    Windows and ISO 27001

Does Windows' OS (any) development environment have the same standards as Azure or is Windows OS components built using Azure and then compiled using Azure? Is Windows OS (any) covered by the ISO 27001 development standards? I need to know if the Windows OS can have Microsoft's ISO 27001 certification applied. This would only be true if Windows is developed using Azure or developed in a Microsoft physical location covered by the existing Microsoft ISO 27001 certification.

More simply, Is Windows created with Azure?

There is nothing I can find about the development environment or location of Windows/Windows compilation/Windows API developments.

Thank you for any help here!
