Windows 10: See Signal and Noise in dBM with Windows 10?

Is there a place I can see the current measurements of WiFi signal and noise in dBm on an adapter card with Windows 10? I thought I saw it once but I can't find it now. "netsh wlan show interfaces" just has a signal strength percentage 1% - 100%, that doesn't allow someone to determine if the issue is bad signal reception or interference.

The Macs we have report it - I know I can get/buy Windows utilities to do this, I am hoping to keep things simple in verifying WiFi signals.

How to relate signal bars to received power (dBm) - Nokia 6600

I want to relate the signal bars on my Nokia 6600 to received power in dBm. E.x., 5 bars = ?dBm, 4bars = ?dBm...

Can anyone shed some lights on this issue?

Same problem here, cellular signal is not as strong after updating to Belle, weaker dBm value now.

 

Best bet is to use a 3rd party program called inssider. Even that program doesn't show the noise. Then again for me, I usually expect that the noise floor is somewhere around -90 dbm.

 

Thanks, I'll just carry a Mac laptop around with me if Windows 10 can't do it. No reason to pay for inssider when it doesn't report noise, that's half the battle!

No, what I meant is the dBm measurements for Signal and Interference are right on the Mac toolbar when you Option-click on the Wifi icon. Then I can see whether the low SN ratio is due to a low signal or high noise. I thought this showed in the properties for the adapters under Windows 10 but it does not. So I have to just carry a Mac laptop around and it will show me those numbers wherever I am standing/sitting. No need to buy a $250 device. It would be nicer if the computer itself could always tell me that without carrying a laptop around is all.
