    Seeing admin permission dialog/UI run without focus.


    Anytime I try to run cmd or PowerShell as Admin I have to manually switch to the process asking for permission.Steps to repro: r-click their pinned icon on taskbar, then click "Run as Administrator" at top.Results: See a new taskbar entry flashing for attention.Expected: Screen to immediately dim with admin mode request.Alt-tab would work I assume, but I tend to go click it. Then I'll get the whole "screen dims and I get the colored dialog in the center of the screen" asking if it's OK to do this action.Many other times, when a program like an installer wants admin mode, I'll immediately be

    Dan,

    It is near the top of the dialog you see at step 2 Properties, Security, Advanced - it is just under the entry Name C:\Tools

    Owner, Change, [give Admin permission to proceed], paste/type in Administrators [plural], then there are one or two OK buttons to press on your way out.

    This is what my window looks like (FYI, my paranoia made me white out the OWNER NAME)
    and I still don't see a SET OWNER button:
