    Uninstall Problem - Jetbrains Pycharm

    I'm using Windows 10 and I tried uninstalling Pycharm via the Control Panel Uninstall feature. The uninstall failed and I had a message saying there was a problem with a file called au.exe. Next day after a shutdown and restart I thought I would try again
    but this time Jetbrains Pycharm did not appear in the Control Panel Uninstall Programme list. However the programme is still there and working.

    I'd appreciate any help or advice on how I can carry out an uninstall. If it makes a difference I'm using the Pycharm Community 2016.3 version

    Uninstall Problem - Jetbrains Pycharm

    Just to confirm that the problem reported on the 23rd still exists i.e., pycharm still does not show up on the uninstall list and I can't re-install the product. Thanks

    Uninstall Problem - Jetbrains Pycharm

    find the installation directory for the pycharm. (eg. you can follow the shortcut of the program).

    in my case it was D:\Program Files\PyCharm\PyCharm Community Edition 2016.2.2\bin\pycharm.exe

    in the installation directory there will be an unistall.exe
